Simple Sauteed Chard
If you’ve read through a few of our recipes, you’ll start to notice a trend. We make a number of simple side dishes that serve to highlight the vegetables themselves. Why mess with perfection?
- 1 T olive oil - 1 bunch of chard, chopped with stems separated and sliced - 1 shallot, minced - 1 T lemon juice - Salt, to taste Saute the chard stems and shallot together in the oil until they start to soften. Add the chopped chard leaves and wilt for 2-3 minutes. Add the lemon juice and salt.
